Lost in Kiev
Kickstart your Thursday morning with this post rock band from Paris who create alluring metal compositions that emotionally will make you feel immersed inside a dystopian future.
Stage: Main Stage
Time: Thursday 11:00am
Coilguns
This chaotic Swiss band have been one to watch over the last year after releasing the aggressive yet experimental album ‘Odd Love’. With elements of punk, noise, math-core and members whose live output is raw relentless energy, they’re a band sure to turn heads.
Stage: Bixler
Time: Friday 1:20pm
The Callous Daoboys
Another band that oozes chaotic charisma is American math-core The Callous Daoboys. They’ll have you dancing, screaming, throwing hardcore shapes, circle pitting and appreciating the mania to mash multiple instruments into one song (who doesn’t enjoy a saxophone and violin in metalcore).
Stage: Main Stage
Time: Saturday 1:20pm
Battlesnake
We caught Battlesnake at 2000 Trees Festival back in July and it was honestly one of the most memorable performances of the weekend. Just the outfits alone. Hailing from Australia, Battlesnake are hard to fit into a genre that honestly portrays what they sound like - it could range from Queen to Black Sabbath along with some filthy breakdowns.
Stage: PX3
Time: Thursday 9:20pm
Eyes
If you fancy a good ol’ headbang and throwdown go and watch Dutch band Eyes. Their recent album ‘Spinner’ has been on heavy rotation since its recent release. Groovy riffs, heavy breakdowns, self reflection, a young band finding their way in a chaotic world.
Stage: PX3
Time: Thursday 2:35pm
Vower
British band Vower have been on the uprising over the last year. Members of Palm Reader, Black Peaks and Toska have come together to bring us dark atmospheric beats. Fronted by ex-Palm Reader singer Josh McKeown, the vocals were always going to be the powerhouse of this band. The intense screams to melodic chorus along with experimental industrial beats go hard.
Stage: PX3
Time: Friday 7:40pm
If you made it this far, here’s some bonus picks!
Ithaca
This will sadly be Ithaca’s last show and they truly deserve to go out on a high. Once seen as one of the UK’s most exciting upcoming metal acts and with a devoted following it’s going be an emotional last show for the band. For the metal-core/post-hardcore fans - emotional themes clash with frenzied beats.
Stage: Main Stage
Time: Friday 12:00pm
Rolo Tomassi
An essential British experimental metal band that everyone should see once in their life. Having watched Rolo Tomassi for over a decade - we have never seen a bad set. Their intensity and commitment has never faded and their wild blend of sound continues to earn respect from across the scene. A band deserving of everyone’s attention.
Stage: Main Stage
Time: Saturday 5:55pm
