Charlie Mike Collective Launches ‘HAVEN’ – A New Home for Alternative Music in South Wales
A new chapter for South Wales’ alternative music scene begins this month as Charlie Mike Collective launches HAVEN, a brand-new live music series dedicated to uniting artists, fans, and the wider alternative community.

The inaugural event, HAVEN: Chapter One, takes place on Thursday 13 August 2026 at Tiny Rebel Cardiff. The night features a stellar line-up of rising UK alternative talent. Hell Hotel, Glass Bridges and REVENANT will join headliners Kite Thief.
More than a standard gig, HAVEN provides a genuine home for alternative culture. Alongside live music, attendees can discover independent brands, connect with peers, and join a growing community built around heavy music.
Central to HAVEN’s mission is a partnership with Heads Above The Waves, a Welsh mental health charity supporting young people dealing with depression and self-harm. The event also welcomes Fit For The Pit; specialists in health and fitness for touring musicians, who will exhibit and engage with attendees throughout the evening.
"We don’t just want to put on shows—we want to build a community that genuinely makes a difference," says Callum, Founder of Charlie Mike Collective.
"HAVEN is about creating a space where everyone belongs. By working alongside organisations like Heads Above The Waves and Fit For The Pit, we are supporting both incredible live music and the wellbeing of our community. This is just the first chapter of something much bigger."
This launch marks the start of an ambitious programme. Future HAVEN chapters are already planned across South Wales for later this year, with visions to expand into larger venues and establish HAVEN as one of Wales’ leading alternative music brands.
