Over the last few years has seen quite a few bands reappear on the scene just like they never left and the love for them has never been better. Here’s two bands we absolutely adore and cannot wait to get in the pit to at 2000 Trees.

Dinosaur Pile-Up
The band released what felt like their career high ‘Celebrity Mansions’ back in 2019 before the planet shut down with the pandemic. Like many bands over those years that felt the struggle with health and creative battles they went quiet but came roaring back on the scene and released 5th album ‘I’ve Felt Better’ in 2025 that highlights Matt’s honest harrowing journey, along with tours that saw everyone turn up and bounce (and bark).
We just know this is going to be a set not to be missed, especially when they play ‘Big Dogs’. We expect the crowd to be bouncing start to finish.
Cancer Bats
Another underrated hardcore-punk band deserving of the resurgence love. A band that always felt like they were on the road and fighting to beheard. Still as raw and true to themselves as when they started - their energy is not to be missed at Trees.
The band spent 2025 playing various festivals and tours celebrating album anniversaries and bringing their alter ego band Bat Sabbath on the road to honour the late and great Ozzy Osbourne. Bat Sabbath are also playing a set at Trees!
