Pre-Pride party down at Paradise Garden

It was a Wednesday night before Pride Cymru, and all through the city, we saw many events happening in preparation of the celebration.

Paradise Garden over on City Road has been a venue I’ve needed to cross off my list for a while, and what better way to do that than to watch Liam J. Edwards perform. Liam J. Edwards (they/them) has recently released their second EP, The Alchemist’s Revenge, with title tracks such as, Fake Friends and R.Y.A.N.

After three years of hard work and growth, Liam finally found their place in music. As a classically trained musician, they were often told their sound was “too pop for classical” and “too classical for pop,” so Liam decided to create something entirely new; ‘Popera’

Joining names like Ella Henderson & Beth McCarthy on Main Stage at Pride Cymru, Liam will also be hosting the S4C Community Stage for a great line-up of local artists.
