There has been a lot happening around the world over the last year or so, but one of the most controversial and sensitive topics is currently the war in Gaza. A lot of popular figures and celebrities are keeping quiet on the situation, however, Kneecap are not.

Kneecap are an Irish hip hop trio from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They are known for their political rap and controversial opinions. It’s safe to say that this is a topic that shouldn’t be ignored and Kneecap speaking up over and over again is only helping the new stories around it.

Kneecap were due to play at TRNSMT Festival happening in Scotland this July. They’ve since been ‘removed’ due to safety concerns. Instead they will be playing a solo show in Glasgow three days before the festival.

Festival goers have been concerned that Kneecap will be dropped from other line ups across the UK. 2000 Trees which happens annually in Cheltenham, have confirmed Kneecap will still be headlining their festival.

We're yet to hear any updates from Greenman Festival or Wide Awake Festival but fingers crossed they keep the trio on their line up.
