Five bands we can’t wait to see at 2000 Trees

The countdown is on for festival season and one of our favourite indie festivals is back in force once again. Still yet to announce two headliners, the line up is already **chefs kiss**.

Taking place 8th - 11th July at Upcote Farm, tickets are already flying out. View more info and buy tickets here: https://www.2000trees.co.uk/

House of Protection - USA

HOP are unstoppable right now, having spent last summer at what feels like any festival they could fit in and then heading out with Architects across Europe and Australia - the band have rightly flown up the ranks due to their impressive duo dynamics and fearlessness to get the crowd involved. Featuring ex members of Fever 333 and Night Verses the duo give 90s electric rock its wanted resurgence. Get ready to circle pit.

Split Chain - UK

Only down the road this English rock band blends nu-metal and shoe-gaze. Another band that has been non stop touring and realising work over the last 12 months. Really, they’re only babies in this industry having formed in 2023 and have already show so much potential in what they can achieve artistically and live.

Knives - UK

Another band from down the road in Bristol are these post-punk-metal jazz blending youngsters called Knives. A band that brings the energy live and expects you to bring it too. The first time I caught them live I felt transported back in time to when music felt raw and poignant.

Ho99o9 - USA

Ho99o9 should come with a warning when you witness them live - it’s fierce and in your face. Another punk rap duo from Los Angeles who come across daring when it comes to live performances. Their last album ‘Tomorrow We Escape’ released back on September 2025 was a gritty and compelling release. We can’t wait to hear tracks from this live.

The Dirty Nil - Canada

We’ve caught The Dirty Nil live a few times (once before at Trees) and it was the most wholesome set of the day. Sometimes rock n’ roll isn’t all about the “bad boy” vibes and sometimes you just need these nice boys in your festival schedule.
