Pale Waves absolutely killed it during their Brighton show. The stage was set up with two chandeliers and lead singer, Heather wore a matching tiara. It all tied in very well together and the show started extremely ambient, but then burst into life!
There was a large crowd, all chanting along and a lot of dancing, I even did a bit of a shimmy too! My favourite songs were performed live, one being ‘There’s A Honey’, as well as ‘Television Romance’ and ‘She’s My Religion’. Each song was powerful and impactful with a great deal of crowd interaction.
I also thoroughly enjoyed their cover of ‘Zombies’ by The Cranberries which they played during their set. Heather’s stage presence certainly brought everyone out of their shell and it was definitely one of the liveliest Mondays I’ve had in a while - felt like a weekend!
The theatrical styling of the stage, lighting and outfit choices really complimented the music well. For their encore, ‘Jealousy’ had everyone moving and jumping about! Overall, this concert was fantastic but sadly I didn’t manage to take any decent videos as I was having way too much fun - I would highly recommend seeing this band live for yourself!
